Make sure you go in with realistic expectations. Like Heather said...Baby Steps. You will feel different, but only slightly. It's definitely an exciting day!
Eat breakfast. I had my first fill appointment scheduled at noon and since I don't usually eat until 10:00 and my fill doc said no food for two hours before, I didn't eat anything at all. I guess I thought the fill would make me not hungry, but I was starving!
Don't expect it to give you everything you need. Baby steps to restriction. But keep your mind in the game that is key!

ReplyDeleteWhat they said AND be sure and stick to Dr.'s orders afterwards..(liquids/mushies).
ReplyDeleteGood Luck!
I had my first fill 10/14/10 and it's done VERY little. I agree with others - don't expect miracles.
