I have tried once a week, tried avoiding the scale and only getting weighed at my surgeon's office and I've tried daily. I've decided on the daily route except for TOM days where I'm a chemical experiment with huge weight swings. I need daily accountability to keep me conscious of the consequences of my choices.
I'm interested in hearing your views on weighing yourself...please weigh in!
I wish I could say that I weigh once a week. But I am DRAWN to the scale. Every day..except during that TOM!
ReplyDeleteI weigh myself three times a month - once a week except during the week I'm ovulating. I've never had a gain.
ReplyDeleteI am an obsessive weigher, it has taken over my life. My husband took the scale from me and I am going one month without weighing. I am on day 7 today, it's been really hard. I hope it doesn't end badly.
ReplyDeleteI try for once a week. Although, I do have to say, when I see it going down it is hard for me not to start jumping on daily.
ReplyDeleteDaily for me, in the morning, and I track it on a dry erase board in my bathroom closet so I can see trends.
ReplyDeleteI need the accountability and so far it's not a problem. Part of that is once I've lost a lb, I consider it a lb lost even if I fluctuate around it for a few days before going down again.
Daily but only track when the scale goes down (thus my ticker is stable until there is good news). The longest flux period was 1 month the shortest-1 day :)

I weigh first thing in the morning but keep official track of my weight weekly. You'll always have daily fluctuations, but be consistant on your weekly tab.
